Trying to re-define myself, one step at a time

   Shortly after my nineteenth birthday, I was diagnosed with a condition called Vasculitis. This diagnosis has greatly affected my lifestyle, as I have had to drop out of university, move back across the country to live with my parents, and learn how to live with a chronic, life-long disease.  This has not been easy on me, but I am trying to remain positive.

   It is my goal for this website to help me organize my life, with all its changes.  I need to rediscover who I am, and who I want to be. Some of these changes have already taken place, and some of them are still looming on the horizon.  If you are reading this, I hope you will bear with me as I try to make some sense out of my little corner of the world. I also hope that, eventually, I will be able to connect with other people who are trying to do the same thing - which, really, aren't we all?
